However, some programs, especially College of Engineering, College of Business and anything stem related is highly competitive, almost (if not more) to an ivy league level, hence is why UIUC can be referred to as “public ivy”. Purdue’s CS acceptance rate is around 20%, but I believe that is overall and not broken down by IS or OOS. Purdue DS is a very good program, and is very CS-heavy.
