Shadowplay highlights stutter, Two AAA tittles which i tested recently Watch Dogs 2 and Just Cause 3 caused stuttering fest with Shadowplay but worked fine in Game DVR. But I'm a bit frustrated, because in almost all of my videos captured with ShadowPlay, I have one frame repeated approximately each second and I think it's I've found that when saving a replay to a slower hard drive, it causes the game to stutter pretty badly for a few seconds. What Apr 24, 2022 · Hello everybody :messenger_grinning: I'm here because I recently created a new video of gameplay and I used Nvidia ShadowPlay for that. Specs: i5-7400, GTX 1060 6G, 16gb ram. Going into the Nvidia Control Panel and switching Vertical Sync to use the 3D application's setting fixed my problem. Your performance also may get better. It doesn't seem to matter which quality setting I choose, the stutter is still there. So I nailed this down to Shadowplay's shadow mode. I had the same problem with Shadowplay making my video recordings extremely choppy. Clips are stored on my SSD, same problem on my HDD.
